Love This Bathroom

OMG!  I LOVE this bathroom.  I do not know whose bathroom it is, but if you do let me know and I will be more than happy to to give credit to that person.  I saw this photo on Pinterest.  I love everything about this bathroom accept maybe the floor tiles.  It does look lovely but I would have chosen a lighter color.  I have two full bathrooms in my home and the ceilings are very high; almost 11feet tall and right now they are just blank white walls for the most part.  I have been trying to figure out if I should hang stuff on the walls.  I like the idea of hanging vintage mirrors up high like this.  I have lots of vintage mirrors that I purchase at garage sales.

OMG!  I really, really LOVE this bathroom!

Fabulous inspiration for me.

This my own unfinished bathroom on the first floor.  It still needs the shower hook up.  It is quite a large bathroom and does need some color to balance all that stark white.  Even though shabby chic is my favorite decor style I find that I do prefer having some color infusion here and there.

My first floor bathroom from another angle.  I really want to finish both bathroom this year.

This is my second floor bathroom.  It is a little bit more "done" than the one on the first floor.  The ceilings are very high so hanging up the shower part was a challenge.  I bought a long chain to anchor it from the ceiling but I want a better solution.

This is my second floor bathroom from another angle.  I need to tie the decor of both bathrooms together better.  The first photo of the bathroom I love gives me lots of inspirational ideas.

Xenia, found your lovely blog through your comment at Jane Austen Today. I envy you your large bathrooms. Looks like you're doing a great job of rescuing the Queen Anne.

I would kill for just one bathroom as large as all of yours are! The space you have is just astounding! Your inspiration photo has inspired me! Aren't some people just so clever? Love the hanging baskets. Love the wallpaper. love the little chandelier. Love all the mirrors hanging high. Love the ruffly curtain. It's not a big space either! Glad you posted this!

Having to clean bathrooms as large as mine are is no fun though. As a matter of fact having to clean a house as big as mine is no fun at all. After cleaning a couple of rooms I need to take a nap.
