Cheese Grits

Grits with cheese
 These photos are almost a year old.  They are pictures of a cheese grits casarole that I made on October 18, 2011.  I no longer eat cheese because I am vegan now, but I thought I'd post the pictures anyway.

 I cooked grits in a pot using whole milk, not water.  I then poured it in this corning-ware dish and topped it with extra sharp cheddar cheese.  I did sprinkle some black pepper into the grits when I was cooking it on top of the stove.  Anyway, after you add the cheddar cheese you bake in the oven at 355 degrees until the cheese melts.

It was YUMMY!!!!!!!!
