Shabby Chic Rugs

I recently wrote a post about French Aubusson area rugs.  If you missed it you can read about it Here.   Another type of area rugs that I love are shabby chic in design.  Shabby chic area rugs are so feminine.  They also give a lighter feel to a room since the colors used in them are pastel for the most part.  Sometimes shabby chic rugs will some contain vivid pinks to highlight roses.  Or the background will be a little deeper color to highlight the pastel colors on top of it.

I love the Asian look of this one.

 This area rug reminds me of a chenille bedspread.  Love it!!!

 This one is more of a mat than an area rug.  I love it.  This would be great in a bathroom.
